My name is Ben Erickson, founder of the Restored Purity Project — a Catholic purity coach and speaker dedicated to helping others rediscover God’s design for love and sexuality. My ministry began with my own journey of healing, where I learned firsthand that real transformation rarely happens alone. Breaking free from deeply rooted habits or addictions is nearly impossible without someone to walk beside you — someone who listens, challenges you, prays with you, and reminds you of who you are in Christ.
Through Christ-centered coaching and honest, hope-filled conversations, I help teens and young adults find clarity, accountability, and the courage to pursue lasting purity. My mission is simple: to be a companion on the journey, offering the support, truth, and encouragement that we all need — so that every individual can discover the freedom, joy and love that we are all created for .
Our Story
Ben founded the Restored Purity Project with a simple but powerful conviction — that true love, integrity, and purpose can be restored through Christ. The world tells us that there is no life after death and that the only mission of the human person is to seek personal comfort and pleasure through money, drugs, alcohol, and sex. But, as a devout Roman Catholic, he knows that there truly is life after death and that we have so much more to live for than to simply chase comfort or pleasure. As humans, made in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:27), we are not made for mere comfort — we are made for love.
It is easy to search for love in all the wrong places. Pornography promises fulfillment, but instead leaves individuals feeling more empty and disconnected than ever. It presents a twisted version of love — one that takes rather than gives, that uses rather than honors. Through God’s mercy and healing power, one can come to understand that true love doesn’t enslave the heart; it frees it. Real love is self-giving, patient, and pure — it mirrors the love of Christ, who teaches us what it means to lay down our lives for others. This realization changes everything, and that is why we are so passionate about helping all people discover the same freedom and restoration that hundreds of thousands of individuals have already experienced.
That is why Ben has created the Restored Purity Project — a ministry dedicated to helping others experience that same renewal of heart and mind. Through Christ-centered coaching, practical mentorship, and hope-filled talks on chastity, healing, and identity, we walk with people who are ready to break free from shame and discover the beauty of living with integrity and purpose. Whether we are speaking to those about God’s design for love, coaching individuals through the process of healing from pornography, or simply listening to someone share their story for the first time — our goal is always the same: to lead hearts back to the truth that they are seen, known, and deeply loved by God.
